If you're in an early-voting state, what are you doing hanging around here? Get to it.
Time to make our voices heard.
I'm going to go get it done during lunch.
Gods, I love this country.
Unfortunately, it seems that those who love this country are outnumbered by those who don't.

Posted by: tanaka at October 20, 2004 01:40 PMHi, Tanaka. Welcome.
It sure seems that way sometimes, doesn't it, Chase? Have you ever spent any time at Bill Whittle's site, "Eject! Eject! Eject!"? He writes some of the most incredible, uplifting essays anywhere on why America is a great country inhabited by great people. When I get to feeling like Apologist America-bashers are everywhere, I just go out there and spend an hour or two re-reading his essays. He also has one of the most amazing commentary communities of any blogger out there. Conversing with those people is uplifting, educational, and fun.
Hang in there. It isn't that they outnumber us, it's just that they're SO obnoxiously loud, and make SUCH a stink when they shit on the rug.
Cheers!

Posted by: Ethne at October 20, 2004 09:23 PMWTF??? Oh yeah, that's SUCH an objectionable site. (/sarcasm) Jerks.
Sometimes re-reading Whittle is what gets me through the day. That, and pictures of The Miss and The Viking. :)
