I think it's important that the press just sell products. I also think that any reporter who asks any questions that in any way imply any form of criticism should be fired as un-American. After all isn't the function of the press to just act like as a shill for official government policy?
To question anything the government says or does is the job of subversives. Not real Americans!

The news media tends to take one side of an issue, neglecting many of the facets which any thoughtful person might consider. This is why the media is so disdained by intelligent people.

Even a wise democrat such as myself is disgusted by the clear antii-Bush bias in the media. The Nazi propaganda machine could not be more biased.

Ah yes the media. You mean those large corporations with boards of directors and large investments and large capital expenditures? The one's dependent on advertisers? Ah, that media. Yes That media does always take a side on any issue, usually it's own. This is not surprising at all. It's interest is usually corporate, with a nod toward its investors. Why would it be any different?
